So it`s Newcastle and Scunthorpe!

So it`s Newcastle and Scunthorpe!

Who`d have thought it!

Next season, lurking in the Championship fixtures, will be two enormous clashes with the Geordie giants, Newcastle after Alan Shearer failed to keep them in the Premier League.

Throw two games against Middlesbrough into the melting pot and it promises to be a great season.

Plus we should not forget we`ve our usual two games against West Bromwich Albion as well.

And, don`t dismiss two games against plucky Scunthorpe who, thankfully, beat Millwall at Wembley today.

Bring on the fixture lists so we can all get planning!
