Posh - James Injury To Affect Lewis?

If I`ve read this right, the unfortunate injury David James sustained last night could benefit Joe Lewis, or could it?

James, who suffered a shoulder injury, will now miss the international football this summer, thereby leaving a gap open for one of the U21 keepers to move into the full squad.

If that were the scenario then Joe`s place in the provisional squad for the U21 European Finals this summer could become a permanent one as a member of the final twenty-two.

But, on the other hand, it could see Portsmouth renew their interest in signing our Joe on a permanent basis.

We can only wait and see.

not really "james suffered" more "james has been suffering for 18months". I'm not sure how good Lewis is, having never seen him play - but fabio rates him, so it will inevitibly benefit you. particually as almost all other english keepers have lost there place in there sides.
