Posh - Yeovil Ace a Potential Signing?

Don`t you just hate this time of the year?

Our season is over, there`s an enormous lull before the fixtures for the new season are released and we`re forced to survive on the merest scrap of transfer tittle-tattle.

Well, with Darren Ferguson implying we`re looking to sign five players before the new season starts we`re at least on the radar screen when it comes to a little transfer gossip.

With Posh conducting their dealings in the correct manner we`re not likely to hear who has signed until a deal is done, however, one name has made it onto the radar today, that of Lee Peltier, the Yeovil Town midfielder.

Peltier, who is 23, was signed by Yeovil after joining them on loan from Liverpool and is quoted in the medias wanting to leave for better things

With him being quoted as remarking,

'Whatever happens will happen. But I do want to progress and I feel I am ready to do that right now."

'I want to play at the highest level I can and I think it is time to move on and test myself with new challenges.'


So, if he were to truly interest Posh, is he the sort of calibre of player we should be looking at? Or should we set our sights higher?
