I guess we all accept that days like Saturday are rare occurrences.
I guess we all accept that to experience promotion parties in successive seasons is indicative of just how far we`ve come since Darragh MacAnthony became involved with the club.
Darragh, due to business commitments, wasn`t expected to be at London Road on Saturday but, thankfully, he was and the scenes of celebration have prompted him to comment,
'It's been another great day, one of the best of my life, right up there with my marriage and the birth of my three children."
'It's amazing what we have achieved here, although it's also not a surprise as we have some great people working at this club."
'And we won't be slowing down. Championship football will be great for the club and for the city, but it's now all systems go for the Premier League.'
I know it`s real but am I alone in thinking it`s all a dream and I`ll wake up soon to find we`re the Posh of old and struggling in a sea of woe?
