Posh - Best Behaviour Please Lads!

The clamour to salute our promotion achieving heroes will reach a crescendo tomorrow when 10,000 Posh fans descend upon London Road for the final game of the season against Swindon Town.

Already this week we`ve urged those who are going to arrive early to generate a party atmosphere and we`ve been joined in doing so by the Police who have issued a statement that reads thus,

'We want to ensure everyone can get into the London Road stadium safely so I would urge all supporters to attend in good time."

'We will be supporting the club to accommodate everyone who wants to see the match in a safe and friendly atmosphere.'

And, continuing on a celebration theme, Chief Inspector Nick Knight has issued the following statement relating to the victory parade on Monday,

'We are keen that this is a fun and safe celebration of the club's promotion to the Championship."

'We would encourage fans to gather in the pedestrianised areas of the city centre in Long Causeway and Cathedral Square to get the best view from the safest vantage points.'

So there you have it, the message is arrive early and please behave yourselves.
