Posh - Striker Gossip!

The rumour mill is alive with the suggestion that Posh may well be considering a bid for a leading marksman to supplement the skills of Craig Mackail-Smith and Aaron McLean.

One name that has been mentioned is Ricky Lambert who has plundered a plethora of goals for Bristol Rovers this season.

Lambert has intimated that he`d like to try his luck at Championship level and naturally, the media have put two and two together.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we`ll get the chance to witness another scoring sensation in the form of the Swindon striker, Simon Cox.

Cox has bagged thirty goals for Swindon, including one against us at the County Ground.

Let`s hope we can keep him quiet tomorrow.
