Posh - Tyler to Leave

Posh - Tyler to Leave

It was always on the cards but it is still sad news.

Posh have confirmed that Mark Tyler, a distinguished servant to Peterborough Football Club, will be allowed to leave London Road this season.

I guess the writing was on the wall when Tyler was allowed to go to Bury this season, on loan, and also when Darren Ferguson admitted that if Joe Lewis was to be out injured than young Master James McKeown would get the nod.

Our assistant manager, Kevin Russell, has remarked about the situation,

'He did very well at Bury and we all know that he is a good keeper, but if another club did come in for him he would probably be allowed to leave.'

Let`s hope Mark does get the deal he deserves elsewhere and that he doesn`t just fade away, anyone who has played almost 500 games for Posh deserves at least that.
