Posh - A Whole New World!

I reckon I`m not the only one with a sore head this morning!

I`d hazard a guess that a fair few of those associated with our wonderful football club are also nursing a hangover or two.

But who`d blame them?

Yesterday was the most wonderful of days and one that will live long in our memories.

Next week we say farewell to League One with a fixture against Swindon, life in the Championship may not start until August but already the gaffer is planning ahead as you can tell from his post match comments where he remarked,

"I`m chuffed for the players. It`s awesome. Back-to-back promotions is a great achievement."

"Not many teams have done it and I said that to my players in my team talk."

"They will be remembered now for ever - and I`m proud of them."

"This lot will cope in the Championship, no problem. They`ll thrive on it, like today."

"The players deserve this. They`re a pleasure to work with and it`s hard getting them off the training ground."

"This is the real start of their careers now, playing in the Championship."

"There is a real feel-good factor about Peterborough. The chairman has backed me to the hilt and I have to thank him for that."


I just can`t wait for August - it`s the start of a whole new world!
