'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - The Rendell Mysteries (Again)!

The expression two chances and the second is NO, springs to mind!

After being loaned out to non-league Cambridge United, our striker, Scott Rendell, seems seriously convinced that he may be returning to London Road to star for us in the Championship next season.

Speaking ahead of a weekend whereby we can go a long way to securing that second automatic place, Rendell, speaking to the local media has remarked about his current predicament and whether he`ll be staying or going,

'I don't know what's happening, if they'll sell me or I'll get a chance next year."

'It is Championship football and a fantastic league to be in and a fantastic opportunity.'

Well I for one seriously doubt whether Scott has a future at London Road especially if promotion is achieved.

However, Scott does have another ace up his sleeve when he remarks about the possibility of staying at Cambridge,

'This was the only club I wanted to come back to when I left on loan.'

Talk about appeasing those you currently play for!
