The next two weeks could prove to be the most satisfying in our history; they could though, if things go wrong, turn out to be an absolute nightmare.
Two games and two victories will put the icing ion the cake and see Posh promoted to the Championship.
It seems incredible that such a long season can boil down into such a cold and calculated conclusion, however, Darren Ferguson admitted, in his post match interview on Saturday, that he always thought this would be the case, remarking,
"I always thought the promotion race would go right down to the final game of the season ad that is still the case."
"We have ground out another win and there are just two more games to go now and the destiny is still in our own hands."
"Their goalkeeper made some excellent saves and our finishing was a bit wayward, but you have to give credit to my players."
"They dug in, defended well and I think there is no doubt we were worthy winners. At this stage of the season it is about getting results."
"Promotion is in our hands. It`s so close we can touch it."
Colchester United this weekend; followed by Swindon Town the following weekend, are all that lie between us and the party of all parties!
