Posh - Blackett Looking Forward To Return!

With it being confirmed that Tom Williams is out for the season, the focus has fallen on Shane Blackett to fill the void.

After two bad shoulder dislocations Shane is eager to get back into the first team picture and has spoken to the local media about his feelings ahead of what is a crucial period in our clubs history.

Here`s what Shane had to say,

'I could be coming back into a high-pressure scenario, but there's always going to be pressure on footballers whether you're at the top or the bottom of the league."

'I have confidence in my ability and I have no doubts that I can step back in, do a good job and help the team."

'Obviously I haven't had too much match time this season as I was out for quite a while with injuries. It has been frustrating, so to come on and help the lads win the game at Oldham was very pleasing."

'The boys are doing very well at the minute and I am just looking forward to the rest of the campaign. It is a good opportunity for me."

Don`t let us down Shane and let`s hope the last of the own goals, at least for this season, have hit the net.
