Posh - Mackail-Smith Looks Towards Thirty!

Posh - Mackail-Smith Looks Towards Thirty!

History is littered with teams who gain promotion having a goal scorer whose goals have propelled them into a higher league.

It`s hardly surprising that if you can uncover a striker who can net with some regularity you`ll find yourselves engrossed in a promotion battle.

At Posh, we`re twice as fortunate having not one but two strikers who feature in the scoring charts in Craig Mackail-Smith and Aaron McLean.

Out of the two, it`s now Mackail-Smith who is firing on all cylinders getting a brace on Saturday.

Speaking after the game, Craig showed his ambition by remarking,

"We`re on a great run and hopefully it will continue. And if the lads keep making chances for me it would be brilliant to reach 30 goals."

Now that would be a success story, thirty goals and promotion!
