Posh - Fergie Wary of Rovers Threat!

A visit to play Bristol Rovers can never be considered an easy game.

Matters are further complicated by the fact that, next weekend, we entertain Leicester City in a vital promotion clash.

Ahead of both games, Darren Ferguson has been keen to keep matters in perspective, keen to put all thoughts of playing Leicester at the back of his mind and concentrate on the threat Bristol Rovers present this Saturday.

Speaking to the local media, Darren had this to say about Bristol Rovers,

'They seem to finish every season very strongly and I wouldn't be surprised if that proves to be the case again."

'They are a very good side and I fancied them to be among the promotion contenders this season. They certainly haven't had a problem scoring goals."

'I know their manager Paul Trollope very well and he will put out a side who work very hard and who play good football. The match is definitely one of the toughest we have left and I will be very, very happy if we can come through with the three points."

'We do fancy our chances against anyone though at the moment. I am lucky enough to have fantastic players in the dressing room who also have a first-class attitude."

'Rovers is the only game we are concentrating on at the moment. The Leicester match will take care of itself.'

Three points on Saturday will set us up very nicely for what could be the game of the season.

How about it Posh!
