'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - McLean on a Confident Squad!

Fresh from collecting his February 'Player of the Month` award, Aaron McLean is looking towards the huge stakes we`re currently playing for.

The prolific forward, speaking to the local media ahead of the clash with Northampton this Saturday, has cast an eye around the Posh dressing room and like what he sees, commenting,

'Whenever I look around our dressing room I just see winners. We have lots of quality, some great characters and we've hit form at just the right time."

'We also have some big players coming back. The defence has been great in recent weeks, but when Craig Morgan returns it will be like signing a new player."

'I don't see how we can fail. It's different to last season when we knew we just had to stay fit and well in the run-in to win promotion."

However, whilst Aaron may seem very confident, it`s worth pointing out that the need to win every game spurs the team on, remarking,

'It's much tougher this time around because we have to play well every game just to get a win, but I am confident we can win enough games to stay ahead of the pack and maybe even catch Leicester.'

Now we`re not sure about catching Leicester, let`s put some more daylight between ourselves and the MK Dons first.
