Posh are favourites to beat our local rivals, Northampton Town, in the derby this Saturday.
However, one thing scares me!
Football is littered with matches whereby former players come back to haunt their former employers.
Tomorrow nestling amongst the Northampton playing staff will be a certain Leon Constantine.
Constantine spent an unhappy period at London Road but is promising to upset the apple-cart in the fixture at London Road remarking,
'If we go to Peterborough and get a result, we have got to build on that."
'We are good enough to win tomorrow and good enough to stay up. I really believe that."
'I am sure we can go away from home and win, because we have done that against top sides already this season."
Bold talk indeed, but Constantine, in an interview given to the media, isn`t afraid to talk about his time at London Road, commenting,
'From my own point of view I wasn't at Peterborough for very long, but I have got good memories of everywhere I have been. It is just another game though."
'There is no ill feeling towards anyone. You just want to go there, and get the points, and you want to win. That's obvious, but it doesn't stop there with us."
'We have to string results together now to get out of trouble and Peterborough is a good place to start."
'I'm not bothered about going back there. I have played there before and I don't really hear the crowd to be honest."
'I'm concentrating on trying to do a job for the team. If you are worrying about crowds and things like that you shouldn't be playing football.'
Incidentally, whilst at London Road, Constantine notched one goal for us, please don`t let him be the one to continue the trend I mentioned at the start of this article!
