'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh v Cobblers - Take 3 (Fergie`s Views)

The win over Scunthorpe could turn out to be a seminal performance.

Darren Ferguson has already admitted that Scunthorpe, in the first forty-five minutes were the best team we`ve played this season.

But, our own second half performance was something to behold as Fergie switched the formation to 4-4-2.

Our spirited fight back prompted Fergie to remark to the local media,

'Given the standard of opposition and the fact that we had been outplayed for 45 minutes, that second half display was the best we have been all season."

'Other teams could have buckled in the first half, but we dug in and turned the game around completely. If we repeat that standard of play this weekend we will be hard to live with."

'The tempo and pace of our play were sensational and it's certainly a good time to hit form. What we must do now is maintain it for nine more games."

Nine more games and with performances leek that we`ll be home and dry (hopefully)

Come on Posh you can do it!
