Posh - People of Peterborough Support Your Team!

Posh - People of Peterborough Support Your Team!

After stumbling across a justified rant from Darragh MacAnthony I sort of feel guilty at not being able to go to the match tonight against Scunthorpe, due to work commitments.

But our owner is right; his plea for a more vibrant and better populated London Road is a plea that shouldn`t need to be published.

Sitting pretty in second place in the League and chasing back-to-back promotions, London Road should be the place everyone is flocking to.

I know we`re in the midst of a credit crunch but in real terms, with interest rates at an all-time low, we do have more readies in our pockets, so how about it, let`s start giving our team the support it deserves.

And as for Darragh`s rant, see below and see if you agree with the man himself,

'Six of the last 10 games are at London Road so it is now more important than ever that all Peterborough people come and support the club."

'I have backed the manager 100 per cent and he has responded by giving us the best squad in the club's history and what a great achievement back-to-back promotions and Championship football will be."

'We have a team full of young, hungry players who need the support and encouragement of everybody at every one of the 10 'cup finals' we are facing."

'I once again ask all fans to really get behind the lads and do their bit to get us where we belong - the Championship."

'Nothing makes the hair stand on the back of your neck more than hearing the roar of Posh fans encouraging the team on to another vital three points."

'So join me tonight at London Road to kick every ball and cheer until our voices have gone!'

And if you can`t make it tonight, get those tickets for Northampton and cheer the lads on this Saturday!
