'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Keates' Words of Poetic Wisdom!

Dean Keates seems to be reveling in the limelight and why not!

That free kick up at Victoria Park, Hartlepool should be enough to dine out on for at least another few months, or until the next one flies in!

With Scunthorpe United due to arrive at London Road for another crucial League One game this Tuesday, Keates has spoken out about what has gone before and what is to come (all very poetic from your editor I may add) whilst also offering some prose relating to the MK Dons situation.

Here`s what Keates had to say t the local media,

'MK Dons might have the games, but I still feel second place is in our hands and we don't intend giving it up."

'That means setting out to win every single football match we play. We've got 10 games to go and the lads here are definitely capable of going on an unbeaten run until the end of the season."

'We needed our tin hats on towards the end at Hartlepool, but we stood up to be counted and showed loads of character to come away with the win."

'Now we've got to continue picking up points at home. Teams have been coming to our place and sitting back in numbers, but Scunthorpe can't afford to do that."

'I expect them to come and make it an entertaining game. If that doesn't happen we will have to keep our patience and break them down.'

True Dean, Scunthorpe are looking for a quick return to a Championship they were relegated from last year and the game has all the potential to be one of our toughest of the season.

Come on Posh!
