Posh - Wolves Ready to Poach McLean?

Surfing through various regional newspapers, I`ve come across an article that carries some worrying news.

It implies that Wolverhampton Wanderers, under the stewardship of Mick McCarthy, are preparing a summer transfer window bid for free-scoring Aaron McLean.

Apparently McCarthy tried to snaffle Aaron several times in the recent transfer window but not even a reported bid of 2.5 million could persuade Posh to stay.

Here at Vital Posh we`re of the belief that Aaron will stay at London Road if we gain promotion. But, if we don`t and Wolves get promoted to the Premier League, there may be trouble ahead with the same news story suggesting McCarthy could be prepared to go as high as 5 million for the striker.

Worrying times.
