Nevertheless, I wasn`t the only one as it appears that George Boyd was also a little shocked and on the eve of our trip to the north-east has spoken out about how anyone in the first team has to accept that they could find themselves in a similar situation to Craig.

Speaking to the assembled reporters George commented,

'It just shows that everyone's place is up for grabs."

'Something like the top scorer being left on the bench gives everyone a kick up the backside because we all want to be part of the team."
