Posh - Squad Rotation?

When the teams were read out at Brisbane Road last night, the omission of our top scorer, Craig Mackail-Smith, brought a few worried frowns from the travelling support.

With twenty-one goals already banked this season many questioned whether Craig had picked up an injury.

It was left to Darren Ferguson to explain his decision to drop Mackail-Smith, to the substitutes bench, in an interview with Radio Cambridgeshire during which Darren explained,

"I just feel Craig needed a rest both mentally and physically. He understood, I think he agreed with it. The lad`s played every game and I just think he looks a little bit tired, in particular mentally."

One question!

In the Premier League, wouldn`t this be known as squad rotation?
