Darren Ferguson has, once again, re-iterated certain points ahead of the clash with Southend United on Saturday.
Speaking to the local media, he`s emphasised that, like Carlisle, Southend will be no pushovers and that Saturday is a monumental day when he remarks,
'It's a big day for us tomorrow as six of the top seven are playing each other so it's a good opportunity to make some ground on the others."
'But Southend are another of those teams, like Carlisle, who have under-achieved this season. I fully expected them to be among the teams chasing promotion, but I still rate them very highly and they are one of League One's form teams so it's another hard game for us."
'In fact I'd say it was one of the hardest games that we have left, but I'd take 13 more 1-0 wins this season. We can only influence the amount of points we pick up and it's hard to know exactly how many wins we will need to finish in the top two.
'But we will have a real good go in every game and see where we end up.'
My question is, would thirteen 1-0 wins gain us automatic promotion?
Off course it would - you mark my words!
