It`s a visit to Edgar Street to play Hereford for Posh this weekend.
After only taking one point out of the last six available it`s essential that we return to London Road, on Saturday evening, with all three points if we are to maintain that push for second place.
For the trip to play Hereford, Darren Ferguson is implying that Posh may well introduce Lee Frecklington for his first start in a three man midfield that also includes Dean Keates and Paul Coutts.
In defence James Chester is likely to partner Gaby Zakuani with Posh having to do without the injured Craig Morgan and Tom Williams. Shane Blackett, who played seventy minutes in a reserve game in midweek, may well have to wait another week or two for his inclusion in the first team squad.
Last season Posh emerged victors, 1-0, and it is a result that Darren Ferguson recalls with some pleasure remarking,
'Last season we had a fantastic day out at Hereford so we have good memories of the place."
"It won't be easy though as Hereford have hit some form so a repeat of the 1-0 win would do us.'
Hereford are currently involved in a relegation battle and are placed in 22nd position but as Darren Ferguson has remarked, their confidence has been bolstered by a return of six points from their last two games. Six points that have seen their survival chances improve.
However, if George Boyd can continue with the form he`s shown in recent weeks we have every reason to believe that Posh can get back to winning ways this Saturday. Here at Vital Posh we`ll go for a 2-1 win.
Elsewhere in the division hose who have decided to travel to Edgar Street will be keen to hear how our promotion rivals have got on, here`s hoping that the names of Tranmere (v MK Dons), Swindon (v Scunthorpe), Yeovil (v Oldham) and Brighton (v Millwall) are the names cheered almost as much as our side!
If so it will have been a good weekend.
