Posh - The Ben Wright Situation!

Posh - The Ben Wright Situation!

Since signing from non-league football our new striker, Ben Wright, has been itching to get some first team action.

Darren Ferguson has openly praised the youngster for being better than he thought he was and suggesting that he`s not far away from a first team try-out.

Perhaps that time was Saturday when Yeovil were leading 2-0 and then 3-2 but Darren Ferguson was quick to point out that

'I changed things a bit up front by moving Craig Mackail-Smith to the wing and playing George Boyd inside him and we did start to open them up."

'I was pleased with the way we were playing and I had already decided to bring Dominic Green on as a straight swap for Shaun Batt when the third goal went in. Shaun looked tired."

'Ben has looked good in training and he is very much in my plans, but I felt we were doing okay going forward.'

I think patience is called for all round don`t you?
