'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Chairman Disappointed Over Result!

It was hardly a feast fit for a king, well chairman / owner!

It appears that Darragh MacAnthony was in attendance for the fixture yesterday and following on from quotes attributed to him in the media last week about back-to-back automatic promotions, he, like the rest of us, must have been a little disappointed at the outcome of events.

It was a point picked up on by Darren Ferguson in his post match interview, an interview, apparently, delayed whilst he spoke with Darragh.

Darren had this to say,

'The chairman's come over to see the game, and he's as disappointed as anyone. We all know what the chairman is like and he's a winner, but in football it's not all a bed of roses.'

Thankfully, there was no mention of a dreaded vote of confidence!
