Posh - Owner Calls For Automatic Promotion!

Posh - Owner Calls For Automatic Promotion!

The 4-2 win over Brighton and Hove Albion lifted us into third place.

We`re currently four points behind second place MK Dons with only the top two being guaranteed automatic promotion. Leicester lead the pack and it would take a substantial downturn in form for them to lose out on automatic promotion.

Therefore, it looks, at the moment as it is the MK Dons who remain our major threat for that automatic place.

However, our owner, Darragh MacAnthony remains supremely confident that we can finish in the top two when he re-iterates the aims for this season, remarking to the media,

"Of course I think we will get promoted this season and at this stage I think it will be automatic."

'The aim this season was to follow on from last year and achieve back-to-back promotions and after nearly 30-odd league games we are third and about to put together a good run of wins.'

'Our football has been excellent and our position is a bloody good one as of now and sets us up for the final 17 games."

'I don't want another season at this level and neither does anyone else so let's not even contemplate that.'

That`s what you call supreme confidence, let`s hope he`s right!
