Ferguson Enthuses About Posh Display!

Ferguson Enthuses About Posh Display!

I have to admit that twice last night I thought it was going to be another bad Tuesday night for us.

The first moment came when Brighton took the lead and the second came when they drew leveling first half stoppage time, what is it they say about conceding so close to half time?

Thankfully the team showed immense character and, in the end, ran out very worthy 4-2 winners, a victory that took us back up into third place.

After the game Darren Ferguson enthused about the display remarking,

'That was a big, big win for us. I felt we controlled most of the game, but we conceded two bad goals from our point of view which kept them in it."

'But we were excellent after the break and thoroughly deserved to win. We created plenty of chances and defended much better."

'I'm sure Micky Adams will think the penalty was soft just like I'm bound to say there was contact, but we were worthy of the points anyway."

More of the same again on Saturday against Yeovil please!
