Posh - Home Form the Key!

Posh - Home Form the Key!

Our two defeats this season have come on the road, against Leicester City and Leeds United, whilst those defeats hurt; it`s generally considered that if you are going to accumulate defeats in a promotion season, they`ll usually be on the road.

Therefore, if back-to-back promotions are going to be achieved then it is essential that London Road remains something of a fortress. A point that Russell Martin has emphasised in a recent interview with the local media when he remarked,

'It is really important that we get results at home. We've got nine home games left and we want to win every single one of them. Teams don't like coming here and we need to use that to our advantage.'

My reckoning is that if we can get anywhere near maximum points from those nine games, come next May, we could all get our wishes!
