Posh - Another Poor Attendance?

Stood in the ground last night, just before Mr Fred Graham blew the whistle to get the game underway, I couldn`t help but feel disappointed!

Despite the attraction of cheap admission, as a reward for having to shell out for so many home games recently, there were less than 6000
It was not what I or the club expected!

I can`t help thinking that we`re stuck in a strange scenario that whatever the club tries to do to suck in the punters, we`ve only a hardcore support of anywhere between 6,000 to 9,000!

Now Peterborough Football Club is situated in a catchment area that should provide us with far more support than we`re currently getting and I`d imagine that those who run the club are as puzzled as I am as to why our attendances are not spiralling upwards.

So, next time you speak to your neighbours, try and entice them to London Road, explain to them what they`re missing, tell them this club is going places.

Said before, I'm in exile, so can't make it, but totally agree, we are marching on so why the low attendances? Maybe there are too many glory hunters in the younger generations now so they go to the so called 'big' clubs in the dull money ridden premier league?
