Posh - Triple Sale Rumour?

Posh - Triple Sale Rumour?

Snooping around the various sites on the Vital network, I stumbled across this little story that if it were to be true, which we doubt, would make you weep!

Those who perpetuate to invent rumours on this, the 22nd day of the transfer window, have seemingly implied that Glasgow Celtic would like to buy, probably as a job lot, three of our players.

The fact that the three in question happen to be our most valued attacking options in Craig Mackail-Smith, Aaron McLean and George Boyd, makes the whole scenario even less likely.

The fact that Barry Fry is quoted as remarking,

'If Gordon thinks we are trying to price him out of the market then he's absolutely correct. We are not interested in selling. When anyone comes on to speak to me about them I quote £5m each. Craig has scored 45 goals in 69 games, Aaron 53 in 83 and George 31 in 95 - and he's been playing as a left winger! We are going for back-to-back promotions and can't afford to do without these players.'

would seem to add some sort of credence to the rumour, personally I think it`s destined for the rubbish bin, sell all three, do you think we`re mad!
