Posh - Give Boyd a Break!

Posh - Give Boyd a Break!

Following the 1-0 win over Walsall, a game Posh dominated but struggled to kill of the plucky visitors thanks to heroics between the sticks by Clayton Ince, Darren Ferguson latched onto the abuse George Boyd seems to be receiving.

In his post match interview he remarked,

"Every time 'Boydie` loses the ball the crowd shouts obscenities at him and he is a nervous wreck. He is a flair player and he is going to give the ball away occasionally."

Darren is right isn`t he?

How is somebody expected to deliver the unexpected if barracking is affecting his confidence?

Isn`t it about time the offenders cut it out?

Never a good thing to barrack your own players - gives the opposition a right old boost!
