Normally such frivolities, especially if the season isn`t going well, would be frowned upon.

However, such banter is seen as a sign of great confidence within the squad and something healthy, even if it means somebody getting the rough end of a deal.

Andrew Crofts, speaking in the same interview whereby he discussed his future with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, told a story about Russell Martin that is indicative of the confidence being high in the camp, when he remarks,

"All the lads are different gear, we were playing a game in a corridor and the skipper lost it."

"He`s just had his ears flicked by about twelve of the lads so they`re a bit red at the moment, but the lads are brilliant and it`s great to be a part of it."

Not sure if we`re up to crazy gang status yet though!
