Posh - Pursuit of New Striker Starts?

Posh - Pursuit of New Striker Starts?

After admitting that our number one striking target, Jay Simpson, had slipped through the net, Barry Fry has once again left us all pondering with a few more of his riddles.

Speaking about the situation Fry has confirmed that there is now another potential target that Darren Ferguson has identified but that it may not happen until the summer.

This is what Fry had to say to a local journalist,

'I have been onto the club of this player but they are holding out for quite a bit of money.'

'But the lad is out of contract in the summer so it might be a case of waiting until then."

'He is under 24 so there would be some compensation involved, but we'll see what develops.'

Not many clues there Barry my friend is there!
