Posh - Lee Hoping for Starting Place v West Brom!

With Gabriel Zakunai becoming a permanent member of the Posh playing staff on January 1st, Darren Ferguson faces a selection problem ahead of our FA Cup trip to West Bromwich Albion.

In Zakuani`s absence, Charlie Lee has filled in admirably alongside Craig Morgan at the heart of our defence. However, there seems little doubt that Zakuani will be restored to the heart of the defence on Saturday, after all with him there we never lost a game.

It`s a fact not lost on Charlie though who is hoping that his versatility can earn him a place in the starting eleven. Speaking to the local media he`s had this to say,

'It's been good for me and good for the manager that I am able to play in so many positions."

'From my own point of view I'm just pleased to be in the side. It's a great team to play in and hopefully I've done enough to be involved next week."

'Gaby has been brilliant since he got here, but it's up to the manager what team he picks for the West Brom tie.'

That`s the spirit we need, a touch of togetherness will see this squad go far, mark my words.
