'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Darren on Leeds Job!

When Leeds United announced that Simon Grayson was to be their new manager I probably wasn`t alone in breathing a sigh of relief.

Every time a managerial vacancy arises, in a higher league or at a name club, the name of Ferguson naturally gets mentioned.

It`s something that Darren is also acutely aware of and a few comments were made about the situation ahead of the Millwall game when Ferguson quipped,

'I don't think there will be many Leeds fans voting for me! I had thought Simon Grayson already had the job anyway."

'But in all seriousness I have not been approached and clearly it's just another piece of speculation in the newspapers."

'I am concentrating all my efforts on my job here. It's a big job I have and my focus is entirely on beating Millwall on Boxing Day."

Which is exactly as it should be, isn`t it!
