Ex-Posh Strikers on Target!

Ex-Posh Strikers on Target!

With the high-riders within our London Road base seemingly trying to tie up a deal for a 'name` forward to bolster our promotion chances in the New Year, it`s interesting to reflect on the goal scoring antics, on Saturday, of two who we`ve supposedly deemed are not good enough for Posh.

Scott Rendell, the subject of much discussion relating to a move back to Cambridge United last week, continues to bang in the goals for his former club. Rendell was on target (again) in the 4-0 demolition of Salisbury, hopefully adding another couple of thousand pounds to his January price tag.

Whilst, up in the north-east, Liam Hatch scored a brace in Darlington`s 2-2 draw with Barnet, seemingly having shaken off the effects of the injury that, initially, was suspected as being a broken neck only a few weeks ago.

How we could have done with a goal or two on Saturday!
