Posh - Record Books Beckon!

Posh - Record Books Beckon!

It`s a long time since the Posh support were so excited about what lies ahead.

In the last couple of seasons we`ve, to be honest, been spoiled.

After so many years of anguish it`s an absolute pleasure to pick up the local papers and see nothing but positive news about our club.

Tonight, the local paper, the Evening News, carries a great article that shows just how far Darren Ferguson has taken the club in such a short time.

We`ve already mentioned that avoiding defeat against the league leaders, Leicester City, on Saturday, will equal our longest ever unbeaten run in the league of seventeen games, but I didn`t know that there is still an opportunity to beat a record that has stood for approximately 47 years.

Back in 1961 Posh managed to record 28 wins in a calendar year. So far, in 2008, we`ve recorded 26.

With three games to play that leaves us with a chance to re-write the record books.

So how about it lads?
