Posh - Not Guilty M`Lord!
I love the technical language used whenever a legal matter has been resolved.
I`m sure it`s designed to baffle the common man.
Well it transpires that when Posh were accused of a dodgy approach for an Ebbsfleet player, Kwesi Appiah there was a distinct lack of proof.
They tried to nail us under a breach of rule C2(a), a rule that relates to approaching a player who does not have a written contract.
Apparently, after studying verbal and written submissions, all they could do was declare us, in common man terms - not guilty so not even a slap on the wrist.
That`s how we like it isn`t it!
