'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - McLean Not Fazed by New Striker Talk!

With Darren Ferguson signaling his intent to sign a new striker in the transfer window and Barry Fry announcing that Posh are actively pursuing some name players, you`d think our current strikers might be a little miffed, far from it.

Speaking to the local radio station, one half of our dynamic striker duo of Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith, Aaron, has spoken out about the situation in a plain and honest way, remarking,

'I'm not really too bothered. I'm confident that as long as I'm performing I'll be in the team.'

'It's down to me and down to Craig and whoever it is that does come in will have to fight for their place just like everyone else.'

Exactly as it should be in our opinion!
