Posh - Why The Abuse?

I struggle to comprehend the actions of some!

Here we are in the ascendancy and on a long unbeaten run but still a few idiots have to try and ruin things.

I know the releasing of Micah Hyde was unpopular but surely there`s no need to chastise our owner, Darragh MacAnthony over the matter.

It would appear that Darragh has received abuse over the Hyde situation. Speaking about it this is what he had to say,

'I have had a few abusive e-mails from fans over the release of Micah Hyde with many fans speculating that we didn't save any money and we should have kept him for the rest of the season, so let me throw a few facts out there for everyone on this matter."

'Micah was a great servant to the club and we will of course always be thankful for his contribution in getting us out of League Two, but now we need to focus on getting into the Championship and beyond it."

'The gaffer has wanted to sign Crofts since last January and once we made that happen, Hyde was fifth choice in midfield."

'At this stage in his career the gaffer felt it better for him to get out and play somewhere and maybe earn himself a contract beyond next summer.'

It`s a fact of life and we`ll have to get used to it!
