Posh Cup Triumph - Manager`s Views!

Posh Cup Triumph - Manager`s Views!

After edging out Tranmere Rovers, in a cup tie that went right down to the wire, there were contrasting views from the managers in their post match press conferences, or as we get in the lower leagues, the odd question or two outside the ground.

Understandably, Darren Ferguson was the happier of the two men remarking,

"We have a great habit of not knowing when we are beaten."

The trouble is that in doing so Posh are wrecking my nerves.

The beaten manager, Tranmere`s Ronnie Moore, was understandably a little down commenting,

"It is a cruel game at times."

It sure is and the defeat suffered by his side continued the theme in FA Cup games between these two sides whereby Posh have always emerged triumphant although by getting a replay this time around, Tranmere did get that little closer to achieving that first Posh knockout.
