Posh - Target Man Sought?

Posh - Target Man Sought?

Rumours abound that come the January transfer window Darren Ferguson will be looking to sign and out-and-out striker.

Currently, we only have two to choose from in Craig Mackail-Smith and Aaron McLean as the others on our books - Liam Hatch, Scott Rendell and Rene Howe - are all out on loan.

According to Radio Cambridgeshire, Darren Ferguson may well be looking to recruit an experienced striker to supplement he`s two apparent youngsters available to him.

Ferguson is reported as saying,

'I know a lot of people will think we need a bit more experience and I can see the argument.

'We're on the look out for all sorts of players, young and old.'

However, it seems that a target man could be the type of forward that Ferguson is looking for, especially if the rumours we`re hearing are correct.

So, the golden question is - Who do we see as being able to fit the bill and who may be available?

Has anyone got any ideas?

Steve Howard anyone!
