Posh - Batt 'My Best Goal Ever'

It was one of those goals that you`ll recall for many a year!

It was a goal that came out of nothing, a goal that rescued a point when all looked lost, a goal that kept our unbeaten run going and most importantly (for the scorer) the best goal he`s ever scored.

Quizzed by the media after his wonder strike, our very own Batt, commented,

'It was a great feeling to see the ball fly into net. I've never scored a goal like that so it was a great feeling for all sorts of reasons.'

'It would have been disappointing to lose to a goal that we all thought was offside even though we know we didn't play that well.

'I'm happy with what I've done at the club so far and hopefully a few goals would help me get back in the starting line-up.'

All we`ll say is that Batt, a former Fisher Athletic player, hasn`t done his chances any harm.
