Posh - Zakuani Injury Not As Bad As First Feared

Posh - Zakuani Injury Not As Bad As First Feared

After signing on the dotted line it was distressing to hear that Gabriel Zakuani, our central defender, only lasted eleven minutes at the County Ground before being replaced.

However, it looks like good news is around the corner with Zakuani possibly being fit for selection for the FA Cup clash with Tranmere Rovers this weekend.

Apparently, Zakuani was taken off with a badly grazed knee with a club source stating,

'Gabby badly grazed his knee on some gravel after slipping from the pitch.

'Providing the wound isn't infected he should be back on Saturday."

Told you it was good news!
