Posh - Accolades for Zakuani?

Whilst some may suspect that Darren Ferguson scribes the names of our quality forwards on the team sheet first, there may be a case to write that of Gabriel Zakuani on it first.

We`ve still not lost with Zakuani in the line up and with the lad keen to come to London Road on a permanent basis, he`s becoming something of a lucky charm.

He`s also starting to make a right old impact on his fellow team mates with Aaron McLean stepping forward and remarking in an interview with a local media vehicle,

"Gaby is like a rash. He's just all over his opponents."

'He marks really tightly and wins nearly all his headers and tackles. We played some great stuff in the first half, but we had to do a lot of defending after the break and the lads at the back were awesome."

'I would hate to play against Gaby in that sort of mood. He's just awesome.'

I seem to remember the ex-Spurs and Wimbledon player, Chris Perry was known as the rash for similar reasons, let`s hope Gaby can inspire us to reach such a lofty level and play top flight football with us, in a few years time.
