Posh - Torres Eager for Yeovil Start

Following his performance against AFC Hornchurch, Sergio Torres was voted, by you, as your man-of-the-match.

With Chris Whelpdale unlikely to be fit enough to face Yeovil this weekend; Sergio remains the favourite to take his place.

Hopefully, he will produce the sort of performance he, and us, crave for.

Speaking ahead of the game, this what Sergio had to say to a local radio station,

'Chris (Whelpdale) has been playing very well and, while I would never wish an injury on a team-mate, maybe this is my opportunity now."

'I feel like I am fully fit for the first time since I got here. I missed pre-season because of an operation and then I damaged my ankle playing against Bristol Rovers."

'The style of play here certainly suits me as I like a passing game so hopefully I can start to make a bigger impact now. "

'There are still 30 games to go so there is plenty of time.'

We`d like to wish him every success.
