Posh - Lewis Doesn`t Want to Move

Posh - Lewis Doesn`t Want to Move

Joe Lewis has certainly been making the headlines in recent weeks.

As Vital Posh continues to thrive Joe has been the source of several good articles and today we`re proud to be able to report that despite a multitude of rumours about a transfer, Joe isn`t in a hurry to leave London Road.

Our England U21 keeper is intent on playing on a regular basis and fears that taking a step up to a higher division could see him resigned to long spells on the bench.

Speaking to a local radio station, this is what he had to say on the matter,

'I wouldn't see the point of going anywhere just to sit on the bench."

'I'm playing regular football at a good standard in League One.'

'It's always nice to be involved and hopefully I'll get a few minutes on the pitch and some more experience.'

'I felt a little dip in form and maybe confidence earlier in the season, but I feel like I'm through that and playing much more how I should be at the moment.'

Hopefully, if things go according to plan Joe could well be playing, with us, in a higher division next season.

As it stands now we`d like it placed on record that we believe Joe is a true gent and will go on to become a Posh legend.
