Posh Awarded Home Tie in Round 2

As we strove to overcome the brave challenge of AFC Hornchurch, the draw for the second round was being made.

It resulted in Posh being given a home tie against the winners of the first round tie between Accrington Stanley and Tranmere.

As you`re well aware Tranmere are rivals for promotion from League One whilst Accrington are currently mid-table in League Two.

The tie will be played on either Saturday 29th November or Sunday 30th and gives us a great opportunity to make it into the third round to face one of the big boys!
