Posh - Grind Out Results?

Posh - Grind Out Results?

If we are to attain back-to-back promotions and reach our goal of playing Championship football, there will be times whereby the pretty game has to be sacrificed.

There will be times whereby we`ll have to scrap our way to victory and grind out results, yesterday was such a time.

Hereford were competitive, dangerous and a real test and after the game Darren Ferguson summed matters up perfectly when he said,

'It was certainly a scrappy victory, but it was a very important one"

'You can't play fantastic football every week and Hereford proved they are a much better side than their league position suggests."

'I don't think anyone can complain about being in the top six and only four points behind the leaders in our first season at this level.'

In May, if that dream is realised, we`ll look back at November 1st and acknowledge that was a day we dug deep and got the result we needed.
