After the disappointment of dropping two points, courtesy of a late goal, to Crew during midweek, Posh have a great opportunity to bounce straight back with three points against Hereford United.
Hereford, who will arrive at London Road, with several key players missing, in the form of Robbie Threlfall, Sam Oji and Moses Ashikodi. Also rated as doubtful is Richard Jackson.
Speaking about the clash, the Hereford manager Graham Turner, speaking to his local radio station, was full of praise for Peterborough, remarking,
'They've got a lot of pace in the team and some young players I think that will go on and carve out a good career in football for themselves.'
Obviously Mr Turner has a modicum of common sense about him. Continuing, he then went on to describe the task ahead of his side, commenting,
'We know what we're going to face down there. It's a matter of keeping the players buoyant, keeping the spirits high and making them believe if we work hard enough results will turn.'
'The last few matches they've worked hard, they've tried to do what we've asked. We've just been caught out.'
It promises to be an interesting fixture, with Darren Ferguson probably sticking with the same starting eleven that have seen Posh go on an unbeaten run of games that now numbers just past double figures.
With Aaron McLean having scored three in two games and with Craig Mackail-Smith and George Boyd both in good form, we, here at Vital Posh, predict that Posh will run out 3-1 winners.
So why not start November how you mean to continue it and drag yourselves down to London Road to cheer on the Posh, you never know, you might become as addicted as the rest of us.
